rivers, the Lochsa has over 100 rapids, famous play spots, and beautiful
scenery. You will spend five days enjoying the Lochsa's 75 miles of world
class whitewater. During this five-day clinic, Tarkio's expert instructors
will utilize the Lochsa's playspots and safe, challenging rapids to unlock
your kayaking potential.
The 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio on the Lochsa guarantees personalized
instruction and attention to detail. We base ourselves at the confluence
of the Lochsa and Selway Rivers with a combination of creature comforts—riverside accommodations, delicious meals—with access to miles
of whitewater. State-of-the-art instructional techniques and world class
whitewater combine for an incredible week of paddling on the Lochsa.
Skill Level: Class III paddling
skills. Rapids on the Lochsa range from class II to easy class IV and different
river sections are paddled each day depending on your particular skill level.
Our low (3 or 4:1 ratio) student-to-instructor ratio on the Lochsa allows a wide range
of skill levels to enjoy a week on the Lochsa. |
